What you need
  • A TV
  • High-speed Internet service with a speed of at least 1.2 Mbps (such as mid-level DSL). For HD video, 5 Mbps is recommended (if you’re not sure what your broadband speed is, go to www.speedtest.net and run the simple test)
  • A wireless router
Personal Review Review Roku 2 XD
Overall faster performance especially in menus, Wireless range and signal seems better than the previous models, Better looking menus and color schemes, Smaller Roku footprint. All in all, I have no idea how cable TV will compete with things like Roku. Between the price (free) and the range of great programs we can watch, we will never go back to cable TV.
